Simon Fitzmeier formerly a well-to-do farmer of the Horn neighborhood, but who sold his home some years ago after being disabled in an accident, and squandered the savings of years in fruitless travelings in search of heath and strength, died at the county poor house on Thursday night of last week, of which institution he and wife have been inmates for three years past.
