Mrs. H. F. Snyder Dies Here Sunday

Mrs. Howard F. (Lettie) Snyder, 84, Newton resident for the past 50 years, died from a heart attack at Skiff Memorial Hospital Sunday morning.

Her husband was a former vice-president of the Maytag Co. who died in 1927. She lived at 114 S. 3rd Ave. E.

Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Jennie Hawkins of Austin, Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Jordan Mortuary at Austin, Minnesota. Friends may call at the Morgan- Loehr Funeral Home until Tuesday noon. The family has requested that contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. George W. Phillips at Rose Creek,, Minnesota in 1875, she married Howard Snyder in n 1900 at Austin, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son in infancy, one brother and one sister.

She was a member of First Congregational Church. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery at Austin.
