Raymond Wittenburg, age 71, of rural Marengo passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown, with Rev. Jeff Schanbacher officiating. Interment will be held following the service at Mound Cemetery in Watkins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM also at Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown. Following the burial a luncheon will be held at Grace Lutheran Church.

Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown.

Raymond Wittenburg was the son of William and Bernice (Miller) Wittenburg. He graduated from Benton Community High School with the class of 1972. Following high school Raymond began his career of being a lifelong farmer.

Raymond was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown, where he also served as an elder for the church. He had a strong faith. He enjoyed fishing with his friends, bow hunting, and farming. He was known to have a great sense of humor and he was a great friend to all that knew him.

Raymond is survived by his sister, Bonnie Wittenburg (Steve Suppan) of Wayzata, Minnesota; his brother, Andrew (Barbara) Wittenburg of Battle Ground, Washington; his niece Sara Suppan; his nephew Caleb (Jordan) Wittenburg; great nephews, Judah and Ezekiel Wittenburg; special friends, Steve and Debbie Hacker, Matthew (Jodi) Hacker, and Joel, Grant, and Alexis Hacker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his nephew Timothy Wittenburg, and his uncle Edward Wittenburg,
