An apparent heart attack killed a well-known Livermore man while he was on a fishing trip to Park Rapids, Minn., last Friday.
Theodore "Ted" Wagner, 73, was stricken while in Minnesota. Funeral services for him were held Monday morning in the Sacred Heart Catholic church here, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery at St. Joe.
Mr. Wagner was born in West Bend and moved to the St. Joseph area while a youth. He was married to Carmen Lenertz at Livermore in 1930 and the couple farmed near Bode and LuVerne before moving to Livermore after retirement in 1959.
Surviving is the widow, Carmen; a daughter, Mrs. Luke McGuire of Burt; three grandchildren and three brothers, George, Sylvester and Orville, all of St. Joe, and a sister, Mrs. Nick Reding, Algona.
He was a member of the St. Joseph K. of C's.
