OBITUARY.
Mosher.
Albert P. Mosher was born in Morrow County, Iowa, August 29, 1836 and died at his home on the south side on Dec. 12, 1919, thus being in his 84th year. He moved with his parents when a boy to Lansing, Michigan, and there grew up and was married to Charlotte L. Janes, on July 4th, 1859. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last July. In 1862 Mr. Mosher enlisted in the 20th Mich. Infantry and served in the Civil war for about two years. He was a member of the local Post of the G. A. R. Mr. and Mrs. Mosher moved to Iowa in 1876 and to Cresco in 1890. He leaves besides the widow, three children: Mrs. Minnie S. Bucher of Artesian, S. D.; Mrs. Hattie E. Caldwell of Mankato, Minn., and George B. Mosher of Minneapolis, Minn. There are also seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. mosher has been failing in health for some time, but his death was quite sudden, he being sick only a few days.
The funeral services were held from his late residence on Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. C. L. Nye of the Methodist church, and the local post of the G. A. R. The interment was had at the New Oregon cemetery south of the city.Transcriber’s Note: The last name is spelled two different ways.
