Shafer-Dinger.
At noon Tuesday, June 17th at the Methodist parsonage, Mrs. Bertha Shafer of Cresco, and Mr. W. H. Dinger of Maple Leaf were united in marriage, Rev. E. G. Copeland officiating. The bride wore a gown of navy blue silk and crepe de chine trimmed with Copenhagen blue. She is a very successful public school teacher and is well and favorably known in several localities in Howard county where she has taught. She will preside with grace and ability in her new home. The groom is a very successful farmer, owning a splendid hundred and sixty acre farm one-half mile north of Maple Leaf. Their many friends join in extending congratulations and well wishes.
