Silver Wedding Anniversary.
On the evening of May 8th, about 200 friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Frank took possession of their home and gave them a genuine surprise to remind them of their 25th anniversary.
In behalf of the assembly, Rev. Jno. Pless, in a few well chosen words, presented them with a very handsome buffet and set of silver spoons, to which the worthy couple responded with deep and heartfelt thanks. The evening was spent in music and dancing. A bounteous supper was served at midnight, and in the wee small hours of the morning, the crowd departed wishing the happy couple many more years of happy wedded life.
