Married.
Miss Esther A. Schmidt and Mr. Edward W. Wilkin were united in marriage at the Methodist parsonage Wednesday evening, April 9th. Rev. E. G. Copeland officiated with the beautiful ring ceremony in the presence of a few relatives and friends. Both bride and groom are well known and highly respected young people of Cresco, having spent most of their lives here. The bride wore a beautiful gown of crepe de chine which was very becoming to her. She was attended by her sister, Miss Elsie, as bridesmaid, and Mr. Wm. Kach acted as best man. Mrs. Fred Miller did her part in presiding at the auto wheel. Mr. and Mrs. Wilkin will soon begin housekeeping in South Cresco and they have the congratulations and best wishes of their many friends.
