~
Special to The daily Nonpareil:
DUNLAP, Ia. March 15 – The community was much shocked by the death in France of Ralph Kirk, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Kirk, who lives a short distance west of town. Ralph was a graduate of the high school and the engineering department at Ames, and his friends were legion. He had been overseas for a number of months. He leaves besides his parents, one brother, Carl, and two sisters, Florence and Mildred, who are now in Ames attending college.
