OBITUARY

Miss Bertha Granville, daughter of Mrs. Ingeborg Granville, was born in Norway, August 13, 1874 and died in Chicago Tuesday Oct. 7th, 1913 after an illness of a week at the age of 39 years, 1 month and 4 days. She came to this country about 18 years ago. The remains arrived in Stanhope Friday, Oct. 9th. The funeral services were held the same day at the Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. M. N. Knutson. She leaves her mother Mrs. Ingeborg Granville to mourn her loss besides a host of friends and relatives. The remains were interred in the Stanhope cemetery south east of town.
