Helen Baldwin stands second Charles City
The Prize
For steady improvement, and constant attention to work since the close of school last June, the bishop’s prize is a awarded to Elizabeth Clarkson, Des Moines.
A second prize is given this year, for this same marked improvement, noticeable in every way, and it goes to Jesse Crabbe Farnsworth, Council Bluffs.
The dean of the cathedral gives prize to one who has exerted in the school home a positive, kindly, brightenting influence; it is given to Isabella Bratnober, Waterloo, Ia.
The Katharine Whittemore Perry scholarship for the coming year is given to May McCormick, Chariton.
The principal has offered a prize to each one of the four regular school classes, to be won by competitive examinations. In every class the name of the winner of the prize and also of the one who stand second is givem As a result of the examination the English prize goes to Lillie Marion Andrews, Davenport.
Second stands, Nora Hall, Cedar Rapids.
The junior prize in mathematics, unknown quantity X, has been won by Gertrude Helen Trotter, Chicago.Dorothy Helen Van Patten stands second, Davenport.
The second year class prize goes to Alice Mary Skinner, Cedar Rapids.
