Funeral for Leslie William Clark, 67, of Everly was held Saturday morning, July 14, 1979 from St. Mary's Catholic Church of Everly. Father Thomas Munn officiated.
Burial was at Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.
Bearers; Jeff Kummerfildt, Jim Stofferan, Bob Stofferan, Wayne Clark, Jody Strait and Pat Strait.
Mr. Clark died Wednesday, July 11, 1979.
He was born October 14, 1911, to Henry and Emma (Hart) Clark.
On September 4, 1939, he was married to Venita Fink at Ida Grove, Iowa.
His family moved to Everly when he was young and he received his education there. After marriage, the couple made their home in Everly throughout their life.
Surviving are his widow, Venita; four sons, Tom of Corpus Christi, Texas; Gary of St. James, Missouri; Kirby of Armstrong Creek, Wisconsin and Richard of Sutherland; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Marley Ann) Hoekstra of Sanborn and Mrs. Jerry (Joan Kay) Gratsch of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Howard Clark of Spencer and a sister, Mrs. Harry (Viola) Petersen of Everly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
