JOHN FEES II, Osceola

John LeRoy Fees II, 39, of Osceola died June 12, 2002, at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 18, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with the Rev. David Clark officiating. Burial was at Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola.

John Fees II was born March 6, 1963, in Des Moines to John LeRoy and Carla Jean (Moore) Fees. A 1981 graduate of Interstate 35 High School, he attended Southwestern Community College for two years. On Oct. 31, 1990, he married Barbara Louise Larsen in Osceola. A resident of Osceola for the past 15 years, he had previously lived in the Medora area and New Virginia. John was employed as a group leader in the maintenance enginering department of Siemens Energy and Automation in Osceola. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Osceola; two daughters, Michelle McBride (husband) Jimmy) of Osceola and Crystal Lynn Fees and Matthew Jacobe of Truro; a son, Kevin LeRoy Fees of Osceola; his parents, John and Carla Fees of Des Moines; a sister, Jean Laverty (husband David) of Indianola; his mother-in-law, Beverly Heathcote of Casey; a brother-in-law, Luther Larsen of Casey; and three grandchilden.
