Graveside services were June 3 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola for Forrest R. Diehl, 92, of Des Moines who died June 1, 1996, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Mr. Diehl was born in Clarke County and lived in Des Moines for many years. He was the retired owner and operator of Diehl Landscaping Company and a member of Central Presbyterian Church, the American and Iowa Nurserymen associations, Gardeners of America and the Iowa Garden Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Norma Austin of West Des Moines; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
