Jennie's parents were James and Mary Mullen.
I located three obituaries for you to establish this fact.
According to Jennie (Mullen) Commerford's obituary, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Mullen and was born in Wisconsin on June 12, 1860, and came with her parents to Iowa in 1865. She was a school teacher for five years. She was married on February 19, 1884, to Charles Commerford. The obituary also stated that her widowed father, James Mullen, lived with her at the time of her death.
