Hi John !
I believe your family is in the 1870 Census in Floyd County. Census 11 August 1870, Riverton Township, Charles City Post Office, Floyd County, Dwelling 69, Family 71, page 11. The last name appears to be GENN or YENN on the census. Theodore, 45, farmer, b. Prussia, Real Estate value 11100, Personal Property value 370.
Christina, 45, keeping house, b. Prussia.
Henry, 6, b. Iowa, attended school in 1870.
John, 4, b. Iowa,
Theodore, 5/12, b. Iowa.
