The Semi-Weekly Democrat Cherokee - Monday, October 25th, 1915 - ANOTHER PIONEER CROSSES THE BORDER - Cornelius Piggott, Aged Citizen, Died Yesterday Morning - At 6:30 Sunday morning Cornelius Piggott passed away at the home of Will Dunn, west of Cherokee. He had been in failing health for some time and his demise was not unexpected. The deceased was one of the older
residents of Cherokee county, having been engaged in farming for many years.

He is survived by several children. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made, as it is not yet known at what time some of the relatives can reach her.
