Funeral services for Mrs. Louese Frick, 79, Bettendorf, formerly of Tipton and Durant were held Sept. 11, 1987 at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Davenport, with private committal services at the Durant cemetery.
Mrs. Frick died Sept. 8 at St. Luke's hospital in Davenport.
The former Louese Yetter was born May 7, 1908 in Tipton. She married LeRoy Frick Aug. 7, 1928 in Tipton. The couple owned and operated the Frick Funeral Home in Durant from 1943 to 1972. They moved to Bettendorf in 1972.
Mrs. Frick played the organ for St. Paul's Episcopal church in Durant for 25 years and she was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Davenport. She was a past president and member of St. Elizabeth's Guild, a member of Daughters of the King and volunteered for the St. Luke's Hospital Auxiliary, where she had served for more than 1,000 hours.
She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Sandra) Glattly, Atkinson, Ill., 2 grandsons and 2 great-grandchildren.
