I too am looking for information about Herman Kurz or Herman Kurtz...not sure which is correct. He was the son (perhaps of Henry and Johanna) and married my grandmother Zeline Shepardson. Census records say his name is Herman H Kurz but someone else has been doing research on this family and his records say his name is Herman Phillip Kurz but the rest of his family is Kurtz...so I am confused. Do you have information?
