informaion on relatives

My GreatGrandfather's name was Leonard Stitz. He came from Germany in 1870 with his family and settled in the Carroll area. I show that he passed away on 11/05/1897 in Carroll. He was buried at the St. Peter & St. Paul cemetery. His son John, my Grandfather, married Ann Witt while in Carroll. John left Carroll in 1910 and moved the family to Breckenridge, Minnesota. I would appreciate any information that is available on the Stitz and Witt families. Thank you. Mike Donnelly.
