Bertha Irene Stanton, 78, Cedar Rapids, a former Buchanan County resident, passed away Dec. 9, in Cedar Rapids hospital. Services were held at Turners East, Cedar Rapids, Dec. 14, with burial in Marengo IOOF Cemetery.

Mrs. Stanton was born May 10, 1901, in Buchanan County, the daughter of Arthur and Rosa Peyton Reece. She was married to Tony Stanton.
