Last Wednesday, Mr. Nick Adams, of this township, accompanied by his son Orsemus and Jacob Schoup, went to Buchanan county, near Independence, where, on Thursday, Mr. Schoup was married to Miss Hattie, daughter of James Adams, and formerly residents of Elkader.

On Friday, not to be outdone, Orsemus Adams was married to Miss Margaret Brown. The newly married couples arrived home on last Saturday. May they live long and enjoy a happy, prosperous life.
