Jeff Partee, 49, of Madrid died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2012, at St. Malachy's Catholic Church in Madrid.

Jeffrey Raymond Partee was born on March 26, 1962, in Des Moines to Ray and Mary (Forte) Partee. He grew up in Des Moines and moved to Madrid in 2000. Jeff was starting his twentieth year as a Business Analyst for Iowa Realty. He was a pilot who also enjoyed skydiving, hunting and travel.

Jeff was devoted to his family. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Deb; mother, Mary; six children, Ashley Partee, Brandon (Abbie) Schaffer, Heather Partee, Britni Schaffer, Ray Partee and Emily Schaffer; and four grandchildren, Autumn, Hayley, Thayne and Scarlett. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray.
