William, Ellen, or Amos Sweetman

Hello! I am trying to locate any information on a relative, I'm attaching the obituary of Amos James Sweetman born January 13, 1858. Died June 26, 1944. He's buried in Haines Cemetery.  It lists his parents as William and Ellen Sweetman. I have no information on them and my genealogy is at a dead stop there. Are there any suggestions for places to look besides Ancestry.com, find-a-grave.com or the Appanoose county genealogy site? I did a search and can only find a couple resources that mention them but, give no more information. Amos had nine children by the way. Thank you for any leads you may be able to give me.
