To add some details to the previous post, Malsenia Jones was the daughter of Austin B. Jones and Dinah Norman. Austin & Dinah were married in Wayne County, Kentucky on 28 Jan 1829. They left Wayne county, KY for Randolph County, MO around 1829-1830 along with Austin's sister and brother in-law, Mary Anna Jones & Andrew McHenry Wallace. The families together then relocated to Macon County, Missouri as they appear in the 1840 census. Then both settling again in Appanoose County, Iowa before Austin left for California.

Austin B. Jones is the son of John Jones and Margaret Best. Austin is mentioned in his father's will along with Mary Anna (my 4th great grandmother) in 1850. John Jones is the son of Joshua Jones & Hannah Todhunter, pioneers to Wayne County, KY
