You're correct. In the 1860 Kentucky Census for Mason County, I think this is your family:

George Glasscock 28, b. KY
Amanda Glasscock 20 b. NY
Melville Glasscock 2 b. KY
George M. Glasscock 1/12 b. KY

I can't find him in any later censuses, but this looks like it might be George in the 1850 census living with his parents in Lewis County, KY, about 50 miles away from Mason county:

Newman Glasscock 57 b. VA
Nancy Glasscock age blank, b. VA
Daniel Glasscock 20 b. KY
David Glasscock 18 b. KY
George Glasscock 16 b. KY
Nancy E. Glasscock 12 b. KY

You may be able to confirm that if you know any of George's siblings
