CROSS, TALKINGTON, FELKNER OR FAUKER

Aaron Cross - 1839 to 1910 - died in Appanoose Co., IA. I have conflicting information as to who his wife was. My mother, now deceased, was asked what her great grandmother's maiden name was. She said it was something like, Fauker or Falkner. In the late 1800's some Cross's lived near to Felkners. Is that who she meant?

However, another source indicates the possibility that her maiden name was Talkington. Who can help?
