Mr. and Mrs. John Bickford of Moravia Observe
59th Wedding Anniversary Monday, March 15
Moravia—Mr. and Mrs. John Bickford observed their 59th wedding anniversary March 15 at their home in Moravia, with their daughter, Mrs. Hugh McFatridge, and Mr. McFatridge the only members of the family present for the occasion.
The Bickfords were married March 15, 1889, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Moffatt near Iconium. They lived in Oklahoma, Centerville, and Putnam county, Mo., before moving to Moravia in 1931. Mr. Bickford is 79 years old, and Mrs. Bickford is 76. They are members of the Church of the Nazarene, and take care of their home and a garden.
They are the parents of a son, Lee Bickford, of Tyron, Oklahoma, three daughters, Mrs.
Eva Carpenter of Colton, Calif., Mrs. Ethel Olney of Burbank, Calif., and Mrs. McFatridge.
