Pfc. Larson was wounded slightly on Oct. 26, 1944 and rejoined Gen. Patton's 3rd army at the front two days later. On Nov. 10, near Metz, France he was seriously battered by an exploding mortar shell. An arm and a leg were the more seriously injured. He is hospitalized in Tennesee. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Larson and was married June 30, 1944 to Margaret Myhr.

Robert W. LarsonLt. Larson, P-47 Thunderbolt pilot, died Friday, June 30, 1944, from injuries received in an airplane accident in England. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Larson, he was 21 years old. He had been married for two months.
