Mr. and Mrs. Ike Harms of this city received word from their daughter-in-law that her husband had been reported killed in action in Luxembourg, on Dec 25.  Herman Harms was a member of an infantry outfit, entered the army from his home in Texas, only last March, 1944.  He took his preliminary training at Camp Wolters, Texas, and went overseas last fall.  He is survived by his wife, and two sons, Dale Arnold 1 year old, and Allen Wayne, 3 years old.

Willard Harms


Staff Sergeant Willard Harms arrived here Monday from France and will spend a 30-day furlough here at his home. Willard served in England for several months before going to France where he served with the 521st Replacement Co.
