Halterman's Mill - 1859

Located on South River in Richland Township, Township 77N, Range 22W, in the SW quarter of the NW quarter of section 35.

It is uncertain whether this mill was owned by Isaac Halterman (born 1817 in Ohio) or David Halterman (born 1821 in Ohio). Both Isaac and David's families lived in Richland Township of Warren County, Iowa in the 1850's. Until further information can be found... sorry to say, this is a mystery.
