Heritage winter issue.
Schools are listed by district number. Each
township had nine schools, unless otherwise noted. Not all of the
schools, however, were known by a local name.
Dodge Township
Churches: Dodge Center, Emmanuel.
Schools: 1. Leak; 2. Parrott;
3, Wilmeth; 4, Stony Point; 5, Center;
6. Stalcup; 7, Emmanuel/Breezy Ridge; 8, Sunnyside/Ruckman; 9, Onion
Creek.
Douglas Township
Churches: None known.
Schools: 1, Waterworks; 2, Colberg;
3 & 4, no schools; 5, Center/McKee;
6, Beck; 7, Osborne/Waltersdorf;
8. Pleasant Plain; 9, Worsley.
Grant Township
Churches: Harmony, Grant Center, United Evangelical.

Highland Township

Sand Creek Township

Spaulding Township
Churches: none known

Union Township

Lincoln township

New Hope Township

Platte Township

remained after the town declined.)
