~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Warren Randall McNutt, son of Ray and Ruby Herren McNutt was born in Taylor county near Bedford, July 18, 1919, and departed this life Feb 18, 1921, aged 1 years and 7 mo.
He was sick for six weeks, first having measles, followed by pneumonia, through all his illness he was a very patient little sufferer. Little Randall was an exceptionally bright and loveable child and will be missed and mourned by all, for to know him was to love him. We like to remember that the Good Master while on earth loved little children and said, "Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."
We realize he was a gift loaned us by God and that "The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away."
The last word spoken by baby was to bid some one leaving his room "Bye."
All that loving hands could do for his care and comfort was done. But he was too frail to stand the dread disease.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the M.E. church conducted by Rev Penn. Interment was in Memory cemetery. New Market Herald, Feb 24, 1921
