Benson, Neal Leonard -

Funeral service were held for Neal Leonard Benson Wednesday, May 18, 1994 at united Church of Diagonal in Diagonal, Iowa. Officiating,

Rev. Pam Farren and Rev. Les Calhoun. Casketbearers; Jim Brown, Jay Snyder, David Wiley, John Whittington, Carol Sobotka, Gene Gunsolley. Burial at Diagonal cemetery.

Neal Leonard Benson, son of Arb and Anna Perdue Benson was born November 19, 1899 at Diagonal, Iowa.

Neal spent all of his life in and around diagonal. When a young man he quit school and worked on the road with his Dad.

Neal was the oldest of four children. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Wayne and a sister Avis. Also a son Gale Leonard.

On January 28, 1923 he was married to Ollie Croy. They enjoyed 71 years of married life. To this union three children were born,

Nina, Gale and Evelyn.

Neal was a farmer all of his life, first in the Mount Ayr area, then moving to a farm east of Diagonal where he lived till retiring and moving to town in 1965.

He joined the Christian Church at an early age.

In April 1991 he entered the Lenox Care Center and passed away May 15, 1994 at the age of 94 years, 5 months and 26 days.

Neal leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Ollie, two daughters; Nina and husband Mack McCall and Evelyn and husband Larry Kilgore. Five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren and one sister, Theola John, several nieces and nephews.

Boyer, Velva May -

Services were held Thursday, April 21, 1994 at the United Christian Presbyterian Church in Bedford with the Rev. Mark

Woldruff officiating. Burial was at the West Fairview Cemetery at Lenox. A memorial has been established in her name.

Velva May Boyer was the eldest child of the late James Garfield and Grace May Dunn Boyer.

She was born October 18, 1905 on a farm ½ mile north of Sharpsburg, Iowa. When eleven months old she moved with

her parents to a farm 3½ miles northwest of Sharpsburg where she made her home until February 1961. Velva and her

parents moved to Bedford, Iowa where she has resided until her death. She passed away on April 18, 1994 at the

age of 88 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Lela Wiand, June Rupert, one brother, Teddy Boyer, two

sisters-in-law, Freda and Audrey Boyer, one brother-in-law, Charles Wiand, a niece, Mary Ann Boyer, a nephew,

Donald Dean Wiand and other relatives.

She leaves to cherish her memories two brothers, Willard Boyer and wife Claudine, Lenox, Iowa, Marvin Boyer and wife Betty of

Clearfield, Iowa, one brother-in-law, Charles Rupert of Arvada, Colorado, nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.

Velva was baptized at an early age in the Blue Grove Christian Church which was near her home. After the church closed in 1932 she

became a member of The Lenox Christian Church in Lenox until 1961 when she moved to Bedford, Iowa. She became a member of the

Christian Church. In 1973 The Christian and Presbyterian Churches became one and is known as The United Christian-Presbyterian Church of which she was a member.

She taught Sunday School also, held several offices in the CWF and Women's Association. She also is an elder of the church.

She attended a rural school and graduated from the Lenox High School with a teacher's certificate and taught rural school several years. A member of the Golden Rule Rebekah Lodge #134 since 1971 and held several offices in it. A member of the American

Legion Auxiliary and worked in the American Cancer Society since 1959. October 1990 she received the highest award given in the

American Cancer Society which was The Harold Morgan Award.

Clawson, Bernice Orr -

ORR DEATHS - Of interest to older members of the Lenox Community are the deaths of Myrtle Orr and Bernice Orr

Clawson, daughters of Simeon B. and Alice Dunn Orr who moved to Lenox in 1900. They are the last of their generation.

Preceding them in death were their parents, sisters, Mae, Alma and Florence Orr, Ethel Kreiger and brother, Elmer

Orr. They are survived by nephew, Harold Orr of Sedona, Arizona and niece, Leila Gromley of Van Nuys, California and

nine great, and great great nieces and nephews.

Bernice was born January 27, 1903 in Lenox, Iowa and passed away April 14, 1994, at her home in Palm Desert,

California at age 91. After graduating from Lenox High School, she went to Los Angeles where she established

a talent school for child actors, later conducting a children's radio program called "Bebe's Pied Piper Club". She later

worked for Bank of California from which she retired. Burial was in Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.

Cram, B J Lee -

B.J. Lee Cram, stillborn son of David and Michelle Cram of Maxwell, died Monday of complications of a premature birth at Mercy

Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Graveside services were Friday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Nevada.

He is survived by his parents, David and Michelle (Rice) Cram of Maxwell; a brother, Michael Lee Cram at home; paternal grandmother

Frances Cram of Maxwell; maternal grandparents Larry and Beth Rice of Slater, and Jeanne and Ed Cordell of Lenox; a paternal greatgrandmother, Fern Burgess of Maxwell; and maternal greatgrandparents, Betty and Bob Campbell of Lenox and Betty

and Dick Delaney of Lenox.

He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather.

A memorial fund has been established.

Services for Clare Doll, 78, of Roeland Park, Kansas were held Saturday, March 26, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in

Roeland Park.

Mrs. Doll is the mother of Mary Lu Imm (husband Dr. Rudy Imm) of Lenox.

Dougherty, Mildred Ann Chambers -

Funeral services for Mildred Ann Dougherty, 89, were held June 1 at the Lenox United Methodist Church, with Rev. Les Calhoun officiating. Casket bearers were Mark Dougherty, John Dougherty, Wade Dougherty, Mick Dougherty, Duane Dougherty,

and Nickolas Dolphins. Honorary bearers were Kevin Wickey, Barry Loeffillbein, George Bledsoe and Marty Dolphins.

Music was provided by Catherine Wilson, Organist, and vocalists Debbie Sweeney and Billie Jean Barker.

Memorials were established to the Lenox Ambulance Service and Lenox United Methodist Church.

Mildred Ann Dougherty, the daughter of Jacob and Dena Carlson Chambers was born on July 6, 1904 in the Omaha area and entered into rest May 27, 1994 at Mercy Hospital in Corning at the age of 89 years, 10 months and 21 days.

Mildred was raised on a truck farm in eastern Nebraska. She attended South High School in Omaha and taught at the West Benson

country school for five years.

On December 28, 1927 she was united in marriage with John Dougherty in Florence, Nebraska This union was blessed with the birth of three sons: Duane, Dick and Glen. Mildred and John farmed grain and livestock near Omaha before retiring in Lenox in 1977.

Surviving to honor her memory are her three sons: Duane Dougherty, wife Rosemary of Lenox; Dick Dougherty, wife Annette of

Lenox; and Glen Dougherty and his friend Shirley Fitzgerald of Omaha, Neb. Also surviving her are her 13 grandchildren, 23 great

grandchildren and one sister; Nona Vermehren of Omaha, Neb.

Preceding her in death is her husband John Dougherty in 1983, one brother: Donald Chambers and four sisters: Bess Fallis, June Wright, Dorothy Hansen and Ruth Schotz.

Larkin & Shelley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Hayes, Jennie Rogers -

Jennie Hayes was born on a farm near Lenox on September 11, 1898. She was the daughter of Sam and Clara Lock Rogers. She died April 10, 1994 at the Lenox Care Center where she had made her home.

Jennie spent her full life of 95 years in or near Lenox, attending Lenox Schools and graduating with the Class of 1917. She lived almost 50 years on a farm west of Lenox and lived for the 25 years prior to her death in Lenox.

Jennie and Ray Hayes were married December 1, 1917. They had three children; Kenneth, Robert and Lois.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray in 1970; her daughter, Lois Brashear in 1989; two brothers, Albert and

Harry Rogers; one sister, Rose Bolte; and a grandson, Michael Hayes.

She is survived by her two sons; Kenneth and wife, Gwen of West Des Moines; Robert and wife Jean of Des Moines; son-in-law, Clark Brashear of Altoona; eleven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

The Rebekah Lodge of which she was a 75 year member and the Lenox Presbyterian Church of which she was a lifetime member were extremely important and meaningful to Jennie. They were an integral part of her life.

Funeral services were Wednesday, April 13, 1994 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Presbyterian Church in Lenox, Iowa. Officiating, Rev. Peter

Vernon Leroy McKee the son of H.F. McKee and Carrie Heath McKee was born on August 14, 1908 on a farm in Cass County near Massena, Iowa and entered into rest on April 9, 1994 at Mercy Hospital in Corning, Iowa at the age of 85 years, seven months and

26 days.

Vernon's boyhood was spent on a farm near Prescott, Iowa where he moved with his parents in 1919. He was baptized in the Methodist Church at Carl, Iowa and educated in the schools of Adams County. After the death of his father, Vernon at the age of 18 with the help of his mother managed the family farm.

On March 31, 1933 he was united in marriage to Marjorie Peterson of Corning, Iowa. For seven years they lived on farms north of Corning and North of Prescott and lived there until 1975 when they retired to Lenox, Iowa. Vernon farmed, raised hogs and fed cattle. All this was done by hard work, muscle and horse power. He was president of the Plainview #6 school board for 10 years.

He enjoyed going to his daughter's basketball games and for relaxation he loved to play cards and dance. Vernon provided a good living for his family as a successful farmer.

Surviving to honor his memory is his loving wife, Marjorie Two daughters; Marilyn (James) Rychnovsky of Prescott, Iowa and Gloria

(Wayne) Anderson of Des Moines, Iowa; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. One brother; Eugene (Frances) McKee of

Nevada, Iowa and one sister; Edith (Herbert) Boock of Grimes, Iowa. Two sisters-in-law; Ina McKee of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Ruby McKee of Spencer, Iowa. As well as many nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and infant brother and sister, brothers Dennis and Manford McKee, sister Dorothy (Don) Foes. As well as a dear granddaughter; Judy Ann Rychnovsky.

Miller, Rose Catherine -

Funeral services for Rose Catherine Miller, 70, of Lenox were held May 31 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lenox, with Rev. Father John Bertogli officiating. Casket bearers were Steve Sweeny, Jim Rychnovsky, Mike Halligan, Norbert Bradley, James Anderson and Ronald Wurster.

Music was provided by Janet Holben, Organist, and Florence Robinson, Soloist. Eucharistic ministers were Catherine Rainforth, Judy

Bunch and Bob Ryan. Lector was Marylin Rychnovsky, and taking gifts were Elda Ryan and Margaret Jones. Interment was at

North Fairview Cemetery in Lenox, with Larkin & Shelley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Memorials were established to the Green Valley Hospice.

Rose Catherine Miller, the daughter of Guss R. and Myrtle Roudybush Novak was born on February 20, 1924 in the Diagonal area and entered into rest May 26, 1994 at her home near Lenox at the age of 70 years, 3 months and 7 days.

She graduated from Clarinda High School in 1943 and married Gene Miller on June 4, 1944.

To this union was born seven children, raised on a small farm southwest of Lenox. After all graduated from high school and left home, she worked at O'Bryan Brothers sewing for five years. Hobbies included sewing, flowers and gardening. She was an active member of the church all her life, and having battled cancer for a number of years was never know to complain.

Surviving are her husband and seven children: Stephen (wife Sharon), Tampa, Fla.; Catherine Yarnell (husband Howard), Maryville, Tenn.; David (wife Rita), Lenox; Frances Young, Memphis, Tenn.; Margaret Murphy (husband Pat), Des Moines; Nancy Long (husband Rick)

Sycamore, Ill.; and Alan (wife Debbie) of Lenox.

Also surviving are 19 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and three brothers: Lawrence of Mont Clair, Calif.; Paul of Deer

Creek, Minn.; and Ivan of Lenox.

Preceding her in death were her parents and an infant brother Joseph.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife who worked hard caring for her family and others. May her soul rest in peace.

Nelson, Ethel Lena Williams -

Ethel Lena Nelson the daughter of Alexander and Rose Graham Williams was born on February 28, 1902 in Albany, Missouri and entered

into rest on April 8, 1994 at her residence in Lenox at the age of 92 years, one month and 11 days.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 11, 1994 10:30 a.m. at Larkin & Shelley Funeral Home in Lenox, Iowa Officiating, Rev. Dena Woldruff, Pastor of Lenox Christian Church in Lenox. Casket Bearers; Rick Nelson, Gary Nelson, Jerry Nelson, Dennis Nelson, Bruce Smith, James O'Connor. Interment at East Fairview Cemetery. Memorials, Lenox Ambulance Service.

Ethel was born the eighth child out of eleven. As a family they moved often, so Ethel had an opportunity to live in many places. At the age of 19 Ethel moved to Lenox. She was united in marriage with Leeman Elmo Nelson on May 3, 1921 to this union ten children were born; eight sons and two daughters. After marriage Leeman and Ethel moved to a farm five miles North East of Lenox where

they raised all of their children.

In 1950 Ethel and Leeman moved to an acreage at the Western edge of Lenox. After Leeman's passing in 1971 Ethel moved to her home on Main street where she always looked forward to a visit from her grandchildren. She loved taking care of flowers and plants of all

kinds, she loved the outdoors, but she was especially dedicated to her family.

Surviving to honor her memory are two sons; George (Barbara) Nelson of Sharpsburg and Ronald (Madelene) Nelson of Clearfield. Two daughters; Betty Yount of Osceola and Lela (Paul) Duke of Gresham Oregon. Three daughter-in-laws; Irene and Helen Nelson

of Lenox and Janice Nelson of Greene, Iowa. One sister; Gladys (Bob) Bradley of Montclair, California. 15 grandchildren, four step

grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, one step great grandson and four great great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents and her husband, Leeman in 1971. Six sons; Norman, Howard, Virgil, Lyle Marvin and Dale Nelson. One great grandson, Dustin Nelson. Four brothers; Lawrence, Roy, Ray and Alma Williams. Five sister; Myrtle Williams, Nina

Fitzgerald, Nellie Peairs, Hazel Hiatt, Buelah Duncan. Two son-in-laws; Duane Yount and Elmer Barker.

Orr, Myrtle Irene -

Orr, Myrtle Irene -

Myrtle was born in Minden, Nebraska March 28, 1897 and passed away at Eisenhower Hospital in Rancho Mirage,

California May 17, 1994 at age 97.

She attended Capitol City Commercial College in Des Moines, and worked for Bankers Life until going to

California around 1930. She retired as bookkeeper for Coulter-Broadway Dept. Stores in 1964. Services were held at

Little Church of the Flowers at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

Schaffer, Kenneth Sylvester -

Funeral service were for Kenneth S. Schaffer April 27, 1994 at Coen-Beaty Funeral Home in Lenox. Officiating Dena Woldruff. Casket Bearers; Kevin Riley, Kurt Riley, Jason Riley, Alan Goodson, Clyde Belding, Leo Sobotka. Honorary Bearers; Phillip Riley, Ralph Zabel, Delman Brown, Mel Strait, H. Norton, Rodney Belding. Interment East Fairview Cemetery,  Lenox, Iowa.

Kenneth Sylvester Schaffer, son of William and Alta Schaffer, was born November 22, 1909 at Creston and passed away at his home on April 23, 1994.

Kenny spent his childhood years in the Lenox area moving around with his family from various farms. Kenny was the oldest of a family of eight children and was preceded in death by four brothers; Orville, Deryl, Harry and LaVerne.

Kenny was married to Nina Belle Nelson on July 10, 1937 in Creston. After 52 years of marriage, Nina passed away on October 30, 1989. To this marriage were born three children. Kenny is survived by his son, Dean Schaffer and wife Betty of Kent, Daughter Creola Riley and husband Richard of Riverside, Ca., daughter Barbara Swank and husband Merle of Lenox, brother, Leo Schaffer of Creston, sister, Almeda Eggleston of Corning, sister, Velda Hardisty and husband Ernest of Kent, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Two great grandchildren also preceded him in death.

Kenny was a farmer and worked the soil of the land from daylight to dark to achieve what he wanted for his family. Kenny retired in 1974 and moved to his present home in Lenox. He drove a bus for the Lenox Schools for 10 years and loved to be with the young kids.

Kenny and Nina were janitors for the First National Bank in Lenox for many years and took great pride in caring for the facility and their community.

Kenny was a permanent fixture at the Lenox Tiger Den, opening the business every morning to serve coffee to his friends. His presence will be greatly missed.

Stoaks, Vernon Lee -

Graveside services were held for Vernon Lee Stoaks Wednesday, May 4, 1994 at West Fairview Cemetery in Lenox. Officiating, Rev. Dena Woldruff, Military Rites, Parkinson Post #250 American Legion, Lenox, Iowa.

Vernon Lee Stoaks was born to Andrew James and Emily Lucretia (Mercer) Stoaks on October 24, 1919 on a farm near Lenox, Iowa. He

graduated from Lenox high School in 1937. Vernon was baptized into the United Methodist Church in Lenox.

He worked at Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas following graduation. He served in the Navy in 1942 as a pilot of a Hellcat Aircraft on an aircraft carrier. Upon his discharge from the Navy in 1945 he moved to Los Angeles, California where he lived and worked for 25 years. Then he moved to Sacramento where he lived the last 25 years before moving to Lenox in 1993.

Being a pilot he became a realtor and sold land in Oregon flying back and forth from Oregon to California. He loved the out-of-doors.

Vernon was survived by two brothers, Marvin of Shenandoah, and Donald of Elk Horn, and a sister, Leola Veldeva Fonner of Sidell,

Illinois, also surviving are many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Vernon was preceded by his mother in 1971, his father in 1972, and by two sisters.

Vernon passed away May 1, 1994 at the Lenox Care Center.

Strunce, Vera M White -

Vera Strunce, 91 of Lenox died March 21, 1994 at Mercy Hospital in Corning.

Services were held March 25, 1994 at the United Presbyterian Church in Lenox with Margreet Ryan officiating.

Casket Bearers were Rex Pierce, Alvin Brown, Ralph Zabel, Vernal Thompson, Wendall Hamilton, Robert Jimmerson. Interment,

North Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Lenox Community Trust.

Vera M. Strunce the daughter of James M. and Miza Hobbs White was born July 21, 1902 in Vermillion, Kansas. Vera was born and

raised in Vermillion, Kansas before her family moved to Creston, Iowa where Vera graduated from High School in 1922. On June 20, 1936 Vera was united in marriage with Fred Strunce in Ottumwa, Iowa. In 1942 Vera and Fred moved to Bremerton, Wash.,

and worked in the ship yards during World War II and as a result helped with the War effort.

After the War, Vera and Fred moved to Lenox where in 1952 they purchased and operated the Copeland-Wells Meat Locker until Fred's retirement. Vera continued working at the First National Bank in Lenox.

Vera was a member of the H.F. Card Club in Lenox and a past President and long time member of Chapter F W P.E.O. of Lenox. She was also a member of the Presbyterian Church for many years.

Surviving to honor her memory are two sister-in-law's; Hallie White of Covina, California and Jennie Strunce of Chicago, Illinois; Five Nieces and two Nephews as well as many caring friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, Fred Strunce in 1978 and a brother Ealton White.

Walter, Beatrice Anna Butler -

Beatrice Walter, an active part of the Lenox area community for nearly all of her adult life, died Thursday in a car-truck accident in Bedford.

Beatrice, 83, was northbound on Highway 49 at the 49-Highway 2 intersection in Bedford when she apparently did not stop at a

stop sign at the intersection, according to the Iowa State Patrol accident report. Her 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass sustained very heavy

damage when it struck the rear of a westbound semitrailer truck, then veered into a ditch, Mrs. Walter was ejected from the vehicle,

according to the report.

The driver of the truck, Douglas Garrett, 33 of Bloomfield, was not injured.

Mrs. Walter was pronounced dead at the Mercy Hospital emergency room in Corning.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Lenox Presbyterian Church. A memorial has been established in her name.

She was a resident of the Lenox area nearly all of her life. She was born Oct. 19, 1910, on a farm near Lenox to Clarence and Cora (Stoner) Butler. She married Homer Walter August 15, 1937 in Lenox, and the couple farmed in Adams and Taylor counties

before moving to Lenox in 1974.

Beatrice was a Sunday school teacher at the Presbyterian Church, where she was an active member. She was a member of a

number of civic organizations in the Lenox area.

Survivors include a daughter, Coleen (Mrs. LaRell) Wilkinson of Lenox, seven grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren.

Beatrice A. Walter, 83, of Lenox died March 31, 1994, at Mercy Hospital in Corning from injuries received in an accident

near Bedford. Services will be 1;30 p.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church in Lenox with Margreet Ryan officiating.

Burial will be in the East Fairview Cemetery, Lenox. There is open visitation after 9 a.m. Sunday until time of service with a

family night 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Coen-Beaty Funeral Home in Lenox. A memorial has been established in her name.

Mrs. Walter was born Oct. 19, 1910, on a farm near Lenox to Clarence and Cora (Stoner) Butler. She attended country schools

and graduated from Lenox High School in May 1929. She attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls and taught country

school for five years. She also graduated from a Bible training course at Oskaloosa.

She married Homer Andrew Walter Aug. 15, 1937, in Lenox. They farmed in Adams and Taylor counties before moving to Lenox in

1974. She was a Sunday School teacher at the Presbyterian Church where she was an active member. She was a past matron of

Salome Chapter Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Taylor County Historical Society and the Adams County Genealogy Society.

Survivors include a daughter, Coleen (husband LaRell) Wilkinson of Lenox; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister,

Vera Cline of Van Wert, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul in the Korean Conflict; a sister, Doris in 1977; her husband in 1980; and a

stepson, Vernon Walter in 1990.

Walter, Beatrice Anna Butler -

Beatrice Anna Butler Walter, oldest daughter of Clarence Edwin and Cara Brown Stoner Bulter was born October 19, 1910 on a farm in

Union county, 8 miles east and one north of Lenox, Iowa where her great grandparents, Thomas and Rachel Bell Butler settled in 1864 when they came to this part of Iowa. On March 1911, her parents moved to a farm on 25, five miles east and one and half north of Lenox where her grandparents Henry and Jane Cameron Stoner had lived and where her mother was raised. Here Beatrice grew up

and attended country schools. She graduated from Lenox High School with a Normal Training Certificate May 1929. She attended Iowa State Teachers College at Cedar Falls, Iowa and taught country schools for five years and also graduated from a Bible Training course at Oskaloosa, Iowa. And Easter Sunday, April 1925 she united with the Lenox Presbyterian church and later when it closed in 1940, she

transferred her membership to the United Presbyterian Church in Lenox.

August 15, 1937 Beatrice was united in marriage with Homer Andrew Walter at the Presbyterian Church in Lenox.

Their home was on a farm in Adams County, later moving to a farm in Taylor County and spring 1974 in to Lenox, this union was blest with one daughter, Coleen, also living in the home until she was married was her stepson, Vernon.

Beatrice was a Sunday School Teacher for many years and held many other church offices including being an elder. She was an active

member always as long as her health permitted. She was an active member and Past Matron of Eastern Star, holding an office in it for many years, also a member of Taylor County Historical Society and Adams county Genealogy Society and member of several clubs. She had written seven genealogies of her ancestors of which she was much interested in.

She was much interested in all her family doing many special things for each one. Birthdays and holidays were very special to her. She spent many hours working in her house to make it a special home for her family. She was always a very active and busy person having many goals in life. She loved her church, her family, her home and friends very much.

She was proceeded in death by her father 1954, her brother Paul, killed in the Korean conflict January 1951, her mother and her sister Doris 1977, her husband Homer 1980 and her stepson Vernon 1990.

She is survived by on daughter, Coleen and her husband LaRell of Lenox, 7 grandchildren; Melanie Barker and husband Steve of Ames,

Iowa, Renae Hansen and husband Joel of Issaquah, Washington, Le Anne Wilkinson and fiancee' Paul Scheel of Creston, David

Walter-Laurie of Corning, Judy Jones-Laurie Cliff of Wenatchee, Washington, Karl Walter-Belinda of Clarinda, Bonnie Boswell-Fred of

Corning, 15 greatgrandchildren, one sister, Veva Cline of Van Wert, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
