[Allen, Frank M.] Bedford Times-Press Thursday August 31, 1944 p. 5 Obituary – Frank M. Allen Frank M. Allen, son of William Clark Allen and Mary Brown Allen was born November 3, 1862, near Blockton, Iowa, and departed this life at Sheridan, Wyoming, on August 22, 1944, at the age of eighty-one years. He spent his childhood and early manhood in Taylor County, Iowa. After leaving Taylor County, he made his home in Sheridan County, Wyoming. For several years he owned and operated a ranch in the [irrigateli?] country. In later years he disposed of his real estate holdings and moved to Sheridan, Wyoming, where he made his home until his death. Those left to mourn his departure are a brother, W. [illiam] B. Allen of Bedford, Iowa; a sister, Lulu A. Ackerman of Bedford, Iowa; and a brother, Peter G. [ideon] Allen of Wanblee, South Dakota. Besides these brothers and sister, he leaves several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was held at the Wetmore Funeral Home, Bedford, Iowa, Saturday afternoon, August 26, at two o’clock, conducted by Rev. G. L. Hufstader. Interment was made in the Blockton, Iowa, cemetery. And in the words of the poet, Homer--- “He was a friend to man, and lived in a house by the side of the road.” In Memory of Frank M. Remains were taken to Blockton for interment. The family have the sympathy of all that know them in their bereavement.
Bedford Times-Press Thursday July 19, 1984 Services in Blockton For Ottis Leo Dailey For Services were held July 16 for O. [ttis] L. [eo] Dailey, 85, Blockton, at the First Christian Church in Blockton with Rev. Mel Smith officiating. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery in Blockton. Masonic graveside services were conducted by Taylor Lodge #156. Ottis Leo Dailey, formerly of Elwood, Ks., and St. Joseph, Mo., died Friday, July 13, 1984 at Ringgold County Hospital in Mt. Ayr, Iowa after a short illness. He retired after 35 years from St. Joseph Light and Power Company where he was an operation engineer. Mr. Dailey was born April 19, 1899 in Ringgold County, raised on a farm in the Benton/Marshalltown area. He attended Mt. Ayr High School and St. Joseph Jr. College. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, St. Joseph, Mo. and regularly attended Blockton Christian Church. He was active in the Blockton Betterment Club and past president of the Blockton Housing Corporation and a member of the Taylor County Republican Central Committee. Mr. Dailey was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Shiners (Shine). He Was past Master of Wathena Grand Lodge in Wathena, Ks., and a Royal Arch Mason in St. Joseph, Mo. He was also a member of the Mt. Ayr Order of the Eastern Star. Preceding him in death were two brothers, David Leroy and Clarence Verl; two sisters, Effie Venn and Sira (Sina) Williams; his first wife, Amy Marshall; his second wife, Florence Stephens Schatz; and two infant children. Survivors include his son Richard and wife Dixie of Colorado Springs, Co.; grandchildren, Mark Dailey, Abbeville, La.; and Stephen and wife, Kathy of Spring, Tx. Also surviving are many loving and supportive nieces and nephews. The family suggests contributions be made in memory of O.L. Dailey to Ringgold County Hospital, Masonic Hospital or the Blockton Christian Church. Bedford Times-Press Thursday April 15, 1976 Roy Lee Davis Final Rites Held April 8 Funeral services for Roy Lee Davis, 72, of Blockton, were held April 8 in the Baptist Chapel in Blockton with Rev. Michael Roberts officiating. Mr. Davis died in Ringgold County Hospital in Mt. Ayr April 5, 1976. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Blockton. He was the husband of Katie Davis, and father of William, Neal, Bernice, Thelma, Gloria and Delose, loved by many and liked by all he knew. We believe that one of the happiest years of his life was this last year and we thank God for that. We cannot say goodbye to him because he never in his life said goodbye to us -- only "I'll see you soon" — and we will.
Blockton News Thursday January 16, 1936 [p. 1] Floyd Evans Dead Floyd Evans, whose illness in a Kansas City hospital was mentioned last week, passed away Thursday evening at 10 o’clock. Funeral services were held in Kansas City Saturday at 2 o’clock and the body brought to Blockton where short services were held at the home of Mrs. Evans’ mothers, Mrs. Mary Bentley, Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. W. H. Warrior. Burial in Rose Hill cemetery. As his immediate family he leaves his wife and two daughters, aged 15 and 17. S. W. Evans and wife, of Lyman, Nebraska, came Sunday to be present at the funeral service for his brother, Floyd Evans, held Monday afternoon. [mmett] Evans, son of George [Washington] and Lucinda [Nance Long] Evans, was born in Ringgold County, Iowa, Jan. 28, 1889, and died in Kansas City, Mo., Jan. 9, 1936, aged 47 years, 11 months and 15 days. He passed all his early years at the home near Blockton, and at the early age of 12 years united with the Methodist church at Blockton and remained a member of that denomination until his death. On Jan. 8, 1918, he was married to Miss Lucy Bentley. To this union two children were born, Laurina and Thelma, both of the home address. The family moved to Leavenworth, Kansas, in 1919, and to Kansas City in 1928. Besides his wife and daughters he leaves three brothers, Sam Evans, of Henry, Nebr.; Walter L. Evans, of Kansas City, Mo., and Wm. Earnest Evans, of Laird, Colorado, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in Kansas City and short services in Blockton, and burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery, Blockton. [mmett] Evans of Kansas City. Burial will be made in Rose Hill cemetery, Blockton, today. It will be remembered the father, the late Floyd E. [mmett] Evans, died on Jan. 9. [Evans, Hazel Laurine] Bedford Times-Press Thursday January 30, 1936 p. 4 BLOCKTON Miss Evans Dies Miss Laurene [Hazel Laurine] Evans, 17, died at her home in Kansas City, Monday, Jan. 27. The body was brought to Blockton and the funeral services were held at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Lucy [Mary] Bentley, Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. H. Warrior. Burial was in the Rose Hill cemetery. Miss Evans is survived by her mother and one sister, Thelma Evans, both of Kansas City. Her father died Jan. 9. [Evans, Hazel Laurine] Blockton News Thursday February 6, 1936 [p. 1] Obituary Hazel Laurine Evans entered this world at Blockton, Iowa, Dec. 25, 1918, and received an early call to her eternal home on Jan. 27, 1936, after having only passed the 17th milestone by one month and two days. It is beyond our understanding that the good Lord should see fit to call back to Himself such a young life, just blooming into beautiful womanhood. We have often said that God never makes mistakes, hence we are fully trusting in His wisdom in connection with the particular case, which touches our own hearts. Miss Hazel was reared in the Methodist Episcopal church at Leavenworth, Kansas, where she lived with her parents for eight years. For the past eight years her home has been with them in Kansas City, Mo. She has had her physical handicaps in life, but has been a patient sufferer, trying to hide her suffering from others in order that she might keep the lives around her more sunny and happy. She was a lover of the home where she liked to read and sew. She has gone to join her father, who preceded her going just two weeks and five days, in the better land where suffering and sorrow are unknown. She leaves to mourn her early departure from this world, her beloved mother and an only sister, besides many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in Kansas City, and short services were held at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Mary E. Bentley, Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by W. H. Bedford Times-Press Thursday March 17, 1966 p. 2 Walter Evans Rites March 13 Funeral services for Walter Leslie Evans, 79, of Blockton, were held March 13 at the Blockton Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Clarence Landis. Mr. Evans died March 10, 1966 at St. Francis Hospital, Maryville, Mo. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Blockton. Included in the services was the following obituary. Walter Leslie Evans, one of five sons, was born to George [Washington] and Lucinda [Nance Long] Evans, one mile north of Blockton, in Taylor County, on May 6, 1886. Walter was married Nov. 11, 1906 in the home of his bride, Miss Etta May Nickles of Clearfield, Iowa, by the Methodist pastor of that city. To this union were born five children, three daughters and two sons. In his early youth he attended the Blockton Public School and High School from which he graduated. At the age of fifteen he professed his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour when he became a member of the Blockton Methodist Church. Farming was his main occupation for many years and general repairman in the later years of his life. He had farmed in Kansas for a while and then moved to the Maloy, Iowa area in the early 1940s. A short time later he and his family moved to Blockton where they have made their home for the past 24 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Samuel, Earl, and Floyd, and an infant son. Surviving are his wife, Etta May; and four children, three daughters, Pearl Lucker, of Custer, Mich., Beatrice Rickey of Warsaw, Mo., Ruby Hardesty of Kansas City, Mo.; one son, Victor Henry Evans of Wichita, Kans.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one brother, William Ernest Evans of Phoenix, Ariz.; numerous nieces and nephews and relatives. He lived his entire life as a kind, faithful and loving husband
and father, and a good neighbor, and will be remembered by all who knew him. Bedford Times-Republican Thursday July 3, 1930 [p. 1] Former Resident Dies in Oregon Mrs. H. M. Fluharty Passed Away At home of Her Son John Parks of Bedford received word yesterday from Haines, Oregon, of the death of his sister, Mrs. H. [enry] M. Fluharty, who passed away Monday evening at the home of her son, Arthur Fluharty. Mrs. Fluharty [Martha Ann Parks] was about 71 years of age, and was a resident of Bedford and Conway vicinity at one time, having moved west in 1903. Bedford Times-Press Thursday December 29, 1966 p. 8 Final Rites Held For Eldon King Funeral services for Eldon LeRoy King, 52, lifetime resident of Blockton, were held in the Blockton Christian church December 23 with Rev. Clarence H. Landis officiating. Mr. King died December 20, 1966 at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Blockton, Eldon LeRoy King, son of Mina A. [ngeline King] and Roy C. King, was born in Blockton, Ia., on March 25, 1914. He attended elementary school in Athelstan and graduated from the Blockton High School in 1931. He was baptized in the Blockton Christian Church in April 1928 where he remained a member until his death. On February 15, 1942 [1941] he was united in marriage to Imojean Henry and to this union four children were born: Sharon S. Byers of St. Charles, Mo.; LeRoy C. King of Maryville, Mo., Alice D. Miller of Des Moines, Ia., and William Eldon of the home in Blockton, Iowa. Eldon spent three years in the United States Army during Word War II, serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre for 18 months and 8 months in the European Theatre of war. He received an honorable discharge in Nov. 1945. He was active and participated in his Church and many community organizations and services. He was Sunday school superintendent for a number of years, and served on the school board and Blockton Town Council. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and American Legion Post in Blockton. He was interested in all types of sports and a great lover of music. His occupation for the last 20 years was manager of the Grain Elevator in Blockton, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and one brother, Duane King. Besides his wife and four children, he is survived by two sons-in-law, Allan C. Byers of St. Charles, Mo., Allen C. Miller, of Des Moines, Ia.; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. LeRoy C. (Dorothy) King, of Maryville, Mo.; three granddaughters, Betsy Byers, Kelly Miller and Christian King, two sisters, Mrs. Ila Griffith, of Scottsbluff, Nebr., and Miss Donna King of Blockton. He will be missed by all but cherished memories will long be remembered by everyone who knew him. [Newton, Frances Jane Ailshie] Bedford Times-Press Thursday November 18, 1965 p. 2 Frances Newton Dies Oct. 9 The following obituary was received at the Times-Press. Frances Jane, the oldest of 11 children born to James A. [lexander] and Mary DeShaser Ailshie, was born Feb. 17, 1869 at Blockton. She died Oct. 9, 1965, at Clearview Home in Clearfield, Iowa, at the age of 96 years. She grew up in the Blockton community where she was married July 3, 1893 to George R. [ufus] Newton. This home was established on a farm near there, with five children, Maye, Rufus, Earl, Milo, and Beatrice being born to the family. She joined the Blockton Methodist Church and had that membership transferred to Diagonal. She was a long time member of the Rebekah Lodge. Following the death of her husband in 1925, she continued to live with her family in Blockton, moving to Diagonal in 1933, where she became a part of the community. She was preceded in death by her husband, her elder daughter, Maye Schmer; two sons, Rufus and Milo; four sisters, and by two brothers. She is survived by one son, Earl, of Grant city, Mo., and by one daughter, Beatrice (Mrs. Paul Beal) of Long Beach, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Grace, and son-in-law, Paul. There are four surviving brothers, Will, Frank and Ira, of Crane, Mo., and Ernest of Ontario, Calif., several nieces and nephews. Her remarkable spirit enabled her to maintain her own home

Funeral services for Jennie Stewart were held at 10:00 A. M., Tuesday, December 15, 1992 at the Novinger-Taylor Funeral Home in Bedford, Iowa with Rev. Steve Peters and Rev. Ted DeHass. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery in Bedford. Jennie Stewart, daughter of Mark [William] Slater and Rosella Alkire Slater, was born in Gentry County, Missouri on February 11, 1895 and departed this life on December 12, 1992 at Bedford Manor, Bedford, Iowa at the age of 97 years, 10 months and 1 day. She lived in Gentry County, Missouri and grew to maturity there, attending the public school and the Methodist Church. On December 7, 1916 she was united in marriage to Delton Robert Stewart at Bedford, Iowa and they lived on a farm southeast of Bedford until retirement age, they then moved to Bedford. Jennie was a homemaker. Preceding her in death was her father Mark Slater, mother Rosella Alkire Slater, husband Delton; three brothers, Ira, Norwood, and Eric; three sisters, Fannie, Mae and Ora. Left to cherish her
memory are a host of nieces and nephews.
Jennie was a member of the Methodist Church. She was a kind and considerate wife and aunt and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Bedford Times-Press Wednesday November 25, 1987 ROBERT DELTON STEWART
Robert Delton Stewart was born October 19, 1889 on a farm in Taylor County Ia. He was the youngest son of David McCune Stewart and Katherine [Elizabeth] Bashor [e] Stewart. He was married to Jennie Slater on December 7, 1916. He grew up on the family farm and continued operating it after his marriage until he and Jennie retired and moved to Bedford. His brother, Lee, made his home with them until his death March 2, 1971. Surviving are his wife, Jennie, who is a resident at Bedford
Manor and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, his
brothers Frank, Will, Bert, Lee and Jake, his sisters Belle Manley, Emza Melvin, Ella Perkins, Josie Fox and Dessie Mae Stewart, who died at the age
of three.
He was ever faithful to walk several blocks to visit Jennie in the nursing home. He was very active and lived in his own home until he had a broken hip. He was grateful for the kind concern and caring of his neighbors, friends and relatives and for the many deeds of kindness extended to him by a great niece and her husband Shirley and Smith Hardee who helped to make it possible for him to remain in his home. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Bedford. He believed in his Lord and had a positive outlook on life. He always looked for the good in others. Burt Arthur Wolfe, son of Frederick and Rebecca [Margaret Mickle] Wolfe, was born near Shannon City, October 2, 1877, and departed this life Feb. 10, 1940, aged 62 years, 4 months and 8 days. He grew to manhood near Shannon City, and graduated with the first class to be issued diplomas from the Shannon City high school. Later he took a business course at Simpson College, Indianola. On Feb. 6, 1906, he was united in marriage with Miss Marie Dungy of Allendale, Missouri. They moved to Comstock, Nebr., where he was assistant cashier of the State Bank. A few years later they moved to Blockton where Mr. Wolfe was engaged in the mercantile business near 30 years, retiring from active business in 1936 due to declining health. Burt, as he was called by his many friends, was of a generous nature, as can be testified to, by all who were recipient of his acts of kindness. He was interested in the development of the community and gave cheerfully to every cause. He served six years on the Blockton town council, and was a member of the council at the time of his death. He was a member of the Methodist church and the Knights of Pythias lodge of Blockton. He was quiet and reserved in manner and won the esteem and confidence of those who knew hm. He was a member of a family of seven children, his parents, and three sisters and two brothers---Mrs. L. J. Day, of Afton; Mrs. S. E. Brown, of Dell Rapids, S. D.; Vinnie Wolfe, of Shannon City; William Wolfe, of Berkeley, California, and Charles Wolfe, of Creston—preceded him in death. He is survived by his faithful wife, one brother, John A. Wolfe of Shannon City, many other relatives and a host of friends. He fought a good fight. He finished his work, and was prepared to meet his Master. The funeral was conducted at the Blockton Methodist church Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock by the pastor, Rev. E. B. Stewart, assisted by Rev. C. Max Buck of the Bedford Christian church, a former Blockton minister. Burial in Rose Hill cemetery, Blockton. Bedford Times-Press Thursday March 29, 1962 p. 4 Mrs. Marie Wolf Dies Mar. 24 Mrs. Marie Wolf[e], 81, a resident of Blockton for many years, died at Ringgold County hospital, Mount Ayr, Saturday, March 24 after having been in failing health several years. Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Blockton Sunday afternoon, March 25. Rev. Ernest Leierer officiated. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery at Blockton. She is survived by three sisters and a brother: Mrs. William Golding of Quitman, Mo., Mrs. Myrtle Holmes and Miss Emma Dungy of San Diego, Calif., James I. Dungy of Pattonsburg, Mo. Her husband, Burt Wolfe was a merchant in Blockton for many years. He passed away in 1940. One sister, Mrs. Grace Scott also preceded her in death. [Woods, Goldia Luceal Harmon Hornback Gray] Bedford Times-Press Thursday August 29, 1974 p. 2 Mrs. Otha Woods Last Rites Held Funeral services for Mrs. Otha (Goldia) Woods, 75, of Blockton were held August 22 at the Blockton Christian Church with Rev. G. W. Swan officiating. Mrs. Woods died while en route home August 19. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Blockton. Goldia Luceal, daughter of Alamander and Harriet [Cassady] Harmon, was born at Adel, Iowa April 19, 1899. Goldia completed her formal education in the Adel schools and chose as her occupation, nurses aid. She worked as a private duty nurse for Iowa Methodist hospital until 20 years ago when she retired in 1954. In 1917 she was married to Charley Hornback. To this union one daughter was born, Paulina Marie. On March 2, 1922, she was married to Riley Gray. To this union four children were born: Frances Lee, Herbert Chester, Maude Arline, and Marcella Rose. Mr. Gray preceded her in death in July of 1949. She was united in marriage to Otha Woods at Ankeny, Ia. August 15, 1954 and celebrated their twentieth anniversary last Wednesday. For the past 11 years the Woods have lived in Blockton. Goldia was a member of the United Methodist Church in Adel, Iowa and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Blockton. She was preceded in death by a husband, Riley Gray, her father and mother, one brother and two sisters. Those left with memories are her husband, Otha; son, Herbert Gray, and wife, Wanda of Wichita, Kans.; daughters, Marie and husband, Foster Joiner, of Minburn, Ia.; Maudie Arline Gray of Woodward, Ia., Frances Dady and husband, John, of Easterville, Iowa and Marcella Myers of Cumberland, Ia.; sisters: Sylvia Lehner of Dixon, Nebr. and Martell Telford of Des Moines, Ia.; 24 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Woods was a woman of the home and with her husband, Otha, spent a very quiet life in their home here. She was a good mother, a loyal wife and kind to all who formed her acquaintance. Woods, 89, Last Rites Were Held in Blockton Funeral services for Otha James Woods, 89, of Cumberland, Iowa, held November 13 in the First Christian Church in Blockton, were officiated by Rev. Mel Smith. Mr. Woods died November 10, 1983 in the Veterans Hospital in Omaha. Blockton American Legion Post conducted military rites at Rose Hill Cemetery, Blockton. On June 16, 1894, Otha James Woods entered this world at Cambridge, Ia. His parents were Elbridge Astley and Sarah Christine (Pence) Woods. Very little is known about Otha’s childhood years except that his family lived in the state of Oklahoma and that he had, at least, a brother and sister. It is believed that his parents died early in Otha’s life and an older family member reared him in the state of Iowa. During the course of his adult life, Otha worked on various farms as a farm laborer in and around Adel
and Polk City, Iowa. For a period of time, he worked in the brick factory in
Adel. From February 1918 until June 1919, he served his country in the U. S.
Army. After his discharge from the Army, he continued working in the Adel area.
On August 14, 1954, Otha wed Goldia Harmon Gray in Ankeny, Ia. After their retirement, Otha and Goldia moved to Blockton to be near one of her daughters. While living in Blockton, Otha could be found mowing the yard, tending to his flower and vegetable gardens, tinkering with small appliances, or visiting with his neighbors. After the death of his wife, Otha moved to Cumberland, Iowa, where one of his stepdaughters lived. For the past four years, Otha made many new friends in the Atlantic Care Center where he resided before his death. Besides his wife, Goldia, Otha was preceded in death by two stepdaughters: Frances and Marcella and one step granddaughter. Left to cherish his memory are two sisters-in-law: Martell of Des Moines, Iowa, and Sylvia of Dixon, Nebr.; three step children: Marie of Dallas Center, Ia.; and Herbert of Wichita, Kansas; 23 step grandchildren; numerous step great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends, especially one friend, Tom Bell. Smith of Wichita, Kans., officiating, assisted by Clifford Hanks, Pearl, Ill., Don Fike of Roeland Park, Kans., and A. R. Kepple of Kansas City, Mo. Mr. Yadon died Sept. 22, 1963, at the Bethany Hospital in Kansas City, Kans. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Blockton, Iowa. Ralph Clair Yadon, eldest son of John P. Yadon and Anlow Bradshaw Yadon, was born June 26, 1888, near Alanthus, Mo. He was baptized into Christ in 1905 at Wewoka, Indian Territory which later became the state of Oklahoma. At eighteen years of age he began his ministry and for fifty-five years he preached in ten states in both local and evangelistic work. On June 11, 1913, he was married to Susie M. Cobb and to this union was born a son, William Morris Yadon. He is survived by his wife, Susie; the son, Morris Yadon and daughter-in-law, Amber, of Roeland Park, Kans; three granddaughters, Lynne Yadon Lewis of Boston, Mass., and Jeanenne and Jeanelle Yadon of Abilene, Texas; two brothers, W. L. Yadon of Winfield, Kansas, Bruce Yadon of Ottawa, Kansas; and one sister, Mrs. Kittie Radabaugh of Ottawa, Kansas He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Fred and one sister Bernadene Wharton. Yadon, 80, of Blockton, held April 8 at Tent Chapel Church of Christ in Blockton, were conducted by Rev. Verne Gilbert. Mrs. Yadon died April 5, 1970, at Ringgold County Hospital, Mt. Ayr. Susie M. Yadon was born October 30, 1889, at Bedford, Iowa, to Charles and [Druzella] Eva J. [ane Florea] Cobb. She was the granddaughter of one of Taylor County’s early residents, William A. Cobb of Bedford, whose four sons, Leslie, Floyd, Elmer and Charles S. [umner] (her father) preceded her in death. A great part of her life was spent in and around Blockton, where she was graduated from high school. After taking a normal training course, she taught several terms at the school known as Bush College. She was united in marriage June 11, 1913 to Ralph C. [lair] Yadon of Alanthus, Mo. They made their home on a farm south of Blockton, for a few years. To this union was born one son, William Morris Yadon, now living in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Her husband was an evangelist and she served as a capable teacher wherever they were called to serve the Lord, including several states—Kansas, California, Missouri, Illinois and Iowa. During recent years she was an active member of the Tent Chapel Church of Christ at Blockton where she taught a children’s class as long as her health permitted. Among those left to cherish her memory are her son, William Morris and his wife, Amber of Shawnee Mission, Kans.; three granddaughters and their husbands: Lynne Lewis of Tubingen, Germany, Jeanelle McGuire of Shawnee Mission, Kans., Jeanenne Nichols of Columbia, Mo.; three great grandchildren; brother, Glenn A. [llen] Cobb and wife of Blockton; sister, Annis W. Warden, of Blockton, Iowa, several nephews and their families, Charles Cobb, Dean Cobb, and Glenn A. Warden, all of Blockton, and a host of friends and neighbors.
