George Clark
J.
B. Clark has received a letter
from his niece Mrs Lucile Yoder of Denver, Colorado, telling him of the particulars of her father's death which
was already announced some time ago in this paper. Beyond what was already
given she says that the cause of his death was a severe stroke the first one he
had ever had, and that he was taken at once to the Fitzsimons General hospital
where he wag given the best of care and that he lingered for several days
before the final summons came. He was completely paralyzed on his left side and
probably entirely blind and at times it seemed that he might recover but he at
last failed to respond to treatments and passed away September 15, exactly 23
years after the death of his wife. He leaves three children, Mrs Lucile Yoder, Corp. Thomas Morton Clark, and Sgt. Victor W. Clark, and two grandsons, Hugh and Charles Yoder.
The
funeral service was held at Denver and the body was taken to Ft. Collins for
burial, the Masonic fraternity having a part in the services both in Ft.
Collins and Denver.
