Davidson home and became much interested in and attached to three very young cousins, Verne Davidson, Russell and Richard Haynie, who also spent much time with their Davidson grandparents, aunts and uncles. She watched them grow to adults and marry. Then she became even more interested in watching over their children, Sondra, Steven, Edward and Tammie Haynie, Kenneth and Roger Davidson. These young cousins became her family. She was always available when they wanted a story read and played games with them by the hour. She listened to their dreams and problems. Minnie talked to them and was their friend. She watched their progress through school and was proud of their successes and careers. They enriched her golden years. Her last thoughts were to ask for news about them. Minnie spent her last 10 years in Bedford Manor Nursing Home. As long as her health permitted she took part in all the activities and often helped others less fortunate. She will be missed by all who knew and cared for her.
