The Reformed congregation was organized in 1891. Shortly afterwards the Rev. J. Huizenga from Holland , Nebraska , was called and he accepted and arrived there with his people Nov. 10, 1892 . The congregation then consisted of 27 menbers, of whom there are still 15 alive. Upon confession of faith 27 members have been accepted since then. Present number: 72 members, 80 Sunday school students, 10 teachers, a women's mission guild has been founded that meets once a week. The president is Mrs. Huizenga. Our sing society has between 30 and 40 members. Our church and parsonage are useful buildings and are an ornament for the town.
