CYRUS MENTZER
Cyrus Mentzer, dealer in groceries and queensware, came to Harlan in the spring of 1880, from Marion, Linn county, Ia., where he was in business for eight years. He engaged in his present business with J. Jackson, and in the spring of 1881 bought Mr.
J's. interest. He now employs three clerks, runs a delivery wagon for city trade, and carries one of the largest stocks of goods in his line in the city; store in Coenen's block, on the northeast corner of the square.
