Tingley No. 8
Tingley Township
Tingley Township was divided into nine school districts. No. 8 was located two miles south of Tingley. Julia GALLOWAY was the teacher in 1879.
W. E. BURLEIGH was a teacher (1880s)
The school was closed by 1950 when the rural school system in Iowa was discontinued.

Total enrollment 17, average daily attendance 15; cases of tardiness 2; number of visitors 4.
