CHAD BROWN
Head Men's Basketball Coach, Waldorf College, Forest City, Iowa, 2008
Chad BROWN played soccer and golf for two years at Northwest Missouri State University after graduating from Knoxville
High School. He transferred to Mid-America Nazarene, Kansas, and played basketball before taking his first head basketball
position at Grand Valley High School in Kellerton, Iowa.
BROWN coached the Warriors at Waldorf College from 1993-1998, posting a record of 77 wins and 71 losses. This included two second place
finishes in Region XI. His 1995-1996 squad posted a 20-10 record - the only twenty-win season in Waldorf College Men's
Basketball history. BROWN was named Region XI Coach-of-the-Year in 1995.
In 1998, Brown accepted a position at Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota, as Athletic Director and Men's
Basketball Coach. His 1999-2000 team posted a 12-22 mark, the best in school's history.
BROWN returned to Waldorf in 2000 for his second stint with the Warriors at Waldorf where he was an assistant coach
for two season before taking the head coaching position the first time around in 1993.
BROWN also serves Waldorf as an instructor in the Physical Education and Wellness Departments.
Chad and his wife, Heather, have two sons.
