SANDAGES to OBSERVE 60th ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Harold SANDAGE plan to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary later this month with their family.
Shirley Sue BOOTHE and Harold SANDAGE were married April 9, 1950, at First Christian Church in Mount Ayr; the Rev.
Harold A. REEL officiating. Their children are Sandra CLEM of Saint Louis, MO and Hal SANDAGE of Kansas City, MO.
They also have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. SANDAGE farmed for three years, was a livestock
buyer for Armour & Co. for 10 years, and agency manager for the Des Moines Register in Ottumwa before retiring in
1990. She is a homemaker and was secretary in various offices and assisted her husband in the Des Moines
Register agency until retirement.
