RICHARDSON-STEPHENS
On Wednesday, November 23 [1908], at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stacey STEPHENS of Delphos, occurred the
marriage of their daughter, Miss Ella, to Mr. Orval [sic, John "Orville"] RICHARDSON of Redding. Just as the clock struck 12 the bridal party
took their places under the beautiful arch made of white carnations and ferns while Mrs. Anna GARDNER, sister of the
groom, played the wedding march. Rev. Jessie _. WRIGHT, of Clearfield, performed the ceremony. The bride was beautifully
attired in white silk. The groom wore the conventional black. After the ceremony a sumptuous four course dinner was served.
The bride is a beautiful and accomplished young lady and numbers her friends by those that know her. The groom is a promising
young farmer of sterling worth. A reception was held at the home of the groom's mother in Redding.
