The Ringgold County Chapter [of] Pheasants Forever recognized Jim Norris (right) at its annual banquest Friday, April 1. Norris has served on the County Conservation Board for 15 years, helped found the Ringgold Conservation Foundation and has coached archery in the Diagonal schools for the past nine years.

On a Facebook post County Conservation Director Kate Zimmerman honored Norris: "Thank you so much for all you do for the communities of Ringgold County and inspiring and educating multiple generations in enviromental education and recreation."

A record crowd (below) turned out for this year's event.
