MURPHY-LYONS.
Mr. and Mrs. W. B. [William Benjamin and Martha Elzena (MOLER)] MURPHY, of Bedford, announce the marriage of their
daughter, LaVeta, to Leon LYONS, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Jasper LYONS of Conway. This highly esteemed couple was married October 6 at 12:15 a.m. in the
Christian parsonage at Nebraska City, Neb. The single ring ceremony was read by the Rev. Christian A. WRIGHT.
The bride wore an Alice blue crepe street dress with accessories to match. Mrs. LYONS graduated from the Mount
Ayr school and since that time has been teaching in the schools of Ringgold and Taylor counties. Mr. LYONS
graduated from teh Corning high school and since his graduation has been doing partnership farming with his father.
After May 1, Mr. and Mrs. LYONS will be at home on a farm near Conway.
