Mount Ayr Record News
Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa
Eight members of the Mount Ayr Volunteer Fire Department with combined service records of 206 years and one month,
were awarded honorary membership certificates last Wednesday evening at the department's headquarters. Certificates
were presented to (left to right) Willis HOOD, Cecil FUNKHOUSE, Dee LAMB, C. R. TRIMBLE, Elmo ROE and Earl SCHARDEIN.
Not present to receive their awards were H. B. ELLIS and Burl REYNOLDS.
