Quick part of top dance team
Ashton QUICK traveled with her dance team, Amy Peel Dance Avenue from Des Moines, to Kansas City to the Dance Champs
national competition recently. QUICK danced in four different dances and received two golds, one high gold and one
platinum. The studio also received two top choreography awards, the studio award and the most entertaining award. The
studio was also chosen as the team that will represent Body Wrapper dance war in advertisments and in Dance Champs program for
the 2005-06 dance season. QUICK'S teacher, Amy Peel Wood, was awarded the dance teacher of the year awards as well.
The competition was held at the Paseo Performing Arts Center and the team stayed at the Holiday Inn at the Plaza for
the competition. Ashton is the daughter of Bruce and Kris QUICK of Tingley.
