Arson charge in trailer fire here
A charge of arson has been made after an investigation of the fire which destroyed the travel trailer residence of
Duane ANDERSON at 2276 Highway 169 in Mount Ayr last week. The fire, reported in last week's Mount Ayr Record-News,
was reported at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 12. On Wednesday, July 13, Dusty CHAMPLIN of Mount Ayr was charged with arson,
a Class B felony, and he is being held in Ringgold County Jail on a $32,500 bond. ANDERSON was not at home at the time
of the fire incident. The fire did extensive damage to the residence.
