Despite what was probably the warmest day of the year, over 500 persons were registered at open house ceremonies held at the new air conditioned office of the Iowa State Telephone Corp., last Saturday.
Friday marks the opening of a new era at the Ringgold County Hospital when Medicare, the health care plan for the elderly, goes into effect
Jane Morehouse was voted Miss Congeniality of Leavenworth during the annual Miss Leavenworth Pagent, an official preliminary contest of the Miss America Pateant, held June. 11.
Mrs. Helen Streebin has announced her resignation as Ringgold county home economist effective Aug. 31, 1966, which information has been released by Frank Deemer, chairman of the Ringgold County Extension Council.
