John Sickels was elected president of the Mount Ayr Alumni Association during the organization annual banquet and dance where 200 attended.
Members of the local FFA chapter voted at their regular monthly meeting to hunt pidgeons during the Christmas vacation for fun, adventure and an anticipated profit.
The Christmas spirit of giving came to MACHS journalists. This year the staff gave each student a free Communique, the school's own paper.
The Masons and Eastern Stars of Kellerton will enjoy their annual co-operative dinner in the Masonic Hall.
